KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Ray Guarendi, Ph.D

Dr. Ray Guarendi is a Catholic father of ten adopted children, a clinical psychologist, author, professional speaker, and national radio and television host. His radio show, “The Dr. Is In” can be heard on over 440 stations and Sirius XM channel 130. His TV show, “Living Right With Dr. Ray” can be seen on EWTN Global Catholic Network and is aired in 140 countries.

 

 Greg and Lizzy Boudreaux

Shorty after becoming husband and wife in 2012, high school sweethearts Greg and
Lizzy Boudreaux very naturally became an inspiring musical duo. Prior to performing
together, they spent years sharing their hearts and their music as worship leaders across
the US and internationally, and they continue to do so on a consistent basis today. With
a collection of original songs inspired by their honest experiences of relationship, love,
and marriage, Greg&Lizzy offers a look into some of the greatest joys and deepest trials
of loving another faithfully. They live in Covington, LA. and work in collaboration with
The Vigil Project.

Bridget Hannahan, Ph.D

An Alabama licensed clinical psychologist since 1995, Bridget (O’Brien) Hannahan has specialized in child assessment, adolescent issues, and family therapy. Dr. Hannahan earned both her M.A. & Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a sub-specialty in Clinical Child Psychology, from the University of Alabama. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Child Psychology at UAB.

For 21 years, Dr. Hannahan served as a consultant to the Department of Pediatrics and Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama. Throughout this time, she specialized in early developmental assessment. For 8 years, she also worked in the Autism Diagnostic Clinic at USA. From 2015-2016, she consulted with Glenwood Autism & Behavioral Health Center, conducting diagnostic evaluations in schools throughout the state of Alabama. Dr. Hannahan has been an adjunct instructor in the Psychology departments at Spring Hill College and the University of South Alabama. She has also taught in the Special Education department at USA.

Dr. Hannahan began serving as a volunteer counselor at Rachel’s Vineyard retreats in 2007. Other service to the Catholic community in Mobile has included 3 years coordinating the Respect Life committee at St. Ignatius parish and 10 years on the Planning Committee for Archdiocesan Mother-Daughter Tea. With her husband Tommy, she served as Couple-to-Couple League NFP promoter for several years. She has been an invited speaker at faculty retreats for McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and for marriage nights at St. Mary and St. Ignatius parishes in Mobile.

Dr. Hannahan has been a member of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association since 2014. She currently practices part-time at Narrow Road Counseling in Mobile. She and her husband have been married for 25 years, and they have three young adult children.

 

Deborah Madonia

Deborah Madonia is a member of St. Ignatius Parish and has been active in lay ministry in the Archdiocese of Mobile for many years.  She is founder of Daughters of Mary, the women’s prayer initiative which began in the Archdiocese in 2012.Deborah received the Masters of Arts in Theology from Spring Hill College, where she completed a thesis in New Testament studies. She offers spiritual direction and currently serves as teaching assistant for Spring Hill’s Certificate in Spiritual Direction program. She and her husband, Dr. Phillip Madonia, have been married almost 42 years.  Their greatest joy is the gift of three sons and five grandchildren! 

 Father Dan Good

Father Dan Good is the Pastor of St. Philip and St. Michael Parishes in South Alabama.  Fr. Dan is the State Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus. He is also a chaplain for the Mobile Police Department and Mobile Fire-Rescue.Fr. Dan is also a canon lawyer, having attended Catholic University of America. He also has a graduate degree in moral theology, specializing in healthcare ethics.Fr. Dan loves being a priest. He also enjoys spending time with parishioners and friends, watching movies (especially superhero movies), video games, reading, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. You can access Fr.  Father Stephen Vrazel

Father Stephen Vrazel is a priest of the Archdiocese of Mobile, ordained in 2011. He holds a licentiate degree in philosophy from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Divinity from the Gregorian University in Rome, with a specialization in patristics. He served for two years as a parochial vicar before being appointed pastor of St Vincent de Paul Parish in Tillman’s Corner, AL, a position he has held for five years. He also serves as the local chaplain of Courage, ministry to persons with same sex attraction.

 Tom and Caroline Mcdonald

Caroline and Tom McDonald served as the Co-Directors of Family Life for the Archdiocese of
Mobile for 14 years before returning to their roots in the classroom.  Tom currently teaches junior year
morality at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile.  He also is the voice of Yellow Jacket football
and a media commentator on Archangel Radio 1410 AM, known to all as the Media Czar.
After homeschooling their five children for many years, Caroline now teaches middle school
Latin and religion at St. Ignatius Catholic School  in Mobile.  She feels blessed to be able to teach where
her two youngest attend school and is happy that she still doesn’t have to endure the car pool line!
Caroline and Tom continue serving in family life ministry at St. Ignatius and teach RCIA classes there.
They are also columnists for the National Catholic Register.  If they’re not watching McGill-Toolen
volleyball or football, they are most likely watching Netflix or going to a movie theater.

 Patrick Arensburg

Mr. Patrick Arensberg is the director of the Office for Evangelization and Family Life for the Archdiocese of. Mobile.   He has been so since July of 2011.  Prior to that he spent 17 years as a teacher at McGill-Toolen Catholic High, and one year as a teacher at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School.  While at McGill Mr. Arensberg served as department Chairman for the Theology Department and developed and taught an Apologetics class to seniors.  He attended Louisiana State University but graduated with a B.A. in liberal arts from St. Joseph Seminary College.  He attended the Gregorian University in Rome and holds an M.A. in Theology from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.  Mr. Arensberg is married to Connie and they live in Mobile with their 5 children.

 Todd and Angelle Sylvester

Todd and Angelle Sylvester fell in love while attending college at the Franciscan University of Steubenville.  They have been happily married since August 3, 1990.  Their marriage has been blessed with ten children and four grandchildren (to date).  Currently, Todd is the host of The Live Hour on WNGL 1410am Archangel Radio where he is able to share all that is good, true, and beautiful about our Catholic faith and Angelle is busy at their “condo” in the woods homeschooling “the littles”-their youngest three children.  They love spending time with family and friends-especially when they can host a meal for all to enjoy.

 

 Chris Teague

Chris Teague is a reformed cultural Catholic and a founding and current board member of the
Men of St. Joseph.  He is a husband struggling to keep pace with his wife Sally’s eventual, but
certain, beatification. Chris is the father of 3 grown children, Kate, Gaillard, and Dru. Currently
he is the Director of Marketing for Barnhart, a national engineering, heavy lifting and heavy
transport contractor.
